願那譏誚我說：『呵哈！呵哈！』的都因失望而驚駭。

願那些對我說「啊哈，啊哈」的，因自己的恥辱而驚恐。

向我曰嘻嘻者、願其慚怍而驚駭兮、

有謂予曰、吁哉咈哉、爾當使彼煢然孑立、以報斯讐兮、

向我幸災樂禍者、願其羞愧敗亡、

務使謀我者。無所施其伎。

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame.

Some people make fun of me. Let them be shocked when their plans fail.

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me,“ Aha, Aha!”

Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said,“ Aha! We’ve got him now!”

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be appalled because of their shame.

May those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be confounded because of their shame, Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be horrified because of their shame.

Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be humiliated and disgraced!

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me,“ Aha! Aha!”

They sneer at me and say,“ Aha! Aha! With our own eyes we have seen it.” (niv)

Do not let them think,“ Aha, just what we wanted!” or say,“ We have swallowed him up.” (niv)

How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! (niv)

Appoint someone evil to oppose my enemy; let an accuser stand at his right hand.When he is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayers condemn him.May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.May his children be wandering beggars; may they be driven from their ruined homes.May a creditor seize all he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.May no one extend kindness to him or take pity on his fatherless children.May his descendants be cut off, their names blotted out from the next generation.May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord; may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.May their sins always remain before the Lord, that he may blot out their name from the earth.For he never thought of doing a kindness, but hounded to death the poor and the needy and the brokenhearted.He loved to pronounce a curse— may it come back on him. He found no pleasure in blessing— may it be far from him.He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.May it be like a cloak wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him.May this be the Lord’s payment to my accusers, to those who speak evil of me. May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” turn back because of their shame.But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say,“ The Lord is great!” (niv)

The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” (niv)

Pour out your wrath on them; let your fierce anger overtake them.May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents. (niv)

How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (niv)
