愿那些对我说“阿哈、阿哈”的，因羞愧而败亡！

愿那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧难当！

愿那些对我说：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而惊惶。

愿那些对我说“啊哈，啊哈”的，因自己的耻辱而惊恐。

願那些對我說阿哈、阿哈的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧難當！

願那些對我說：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而驚惶。

願那譏誚我說：『呵哈！呵哈！』的都因失望而驚駭。

願那些對我說「啊哈，啊哈」的，因自己的恥辱而驚恐。

向我曰嘻嘻者、願其慚怍而驚駭兮、

有謂予曰、吁哉咈哉、爾當使彼煢然孑立、以報斯讐兮、

向我幸災樂禍者、願其羞愧敗亡、

務使謀我者。無所施其伎。

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame.

Some people make fun of me. Let them be shocked when their plans fail.

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me,“ Aha, Aha!”

Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said,“ Aha! We’ve got him now!”

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be appalled because of their shame.

May those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be horrified because of their shame.

Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be humiliated and disgraced!

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me,“ Aha! Aha!”

They also opened their mouth wide against me, And said,“ Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it.”

Let them not say in their hearts,“ Ah, so we would have it!” Let them not say,“ We have swallowed him up.”

Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.

Set a wicked man over him, And let an accuser stand at his right hand.When he is judged, let him be found guilty, And let his prayer become sin.Let his days be few, And let another take his office.Let his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow.Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; Let them seek their bread also from their desolate places.Let the creditor seize all that he has, And let strangers plunder his labor.Let there be none to extend mercy to him, Nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children.Let his posterity be cut off, And in the generation following let their name be blotted out.Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord, And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.Let them be continually before the Lord, That He may cut off the memory of them from the earth;Because he did not remember to show mercy, But persecuted the poor and needy man, That he might even slay the broken in heart.As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him.As he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, So let it enter his body like water, And like oil into his bones.Let it be to him like the garment which covers him, And for a belt with which he girds himself continually.Let this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, And to those who speak evil against my person.

Let them be turned back because of their shame, Who say,“ Aha, aha!”Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually,“ Let God be magnified!”

For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Pour out Your indignation upon them, And let Your wrathful anger take hold of them.Let their dwelling place be desolate; Let no one live in their tents.

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
