愿那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧难当！

愿那些对我说：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而惊惶。

愿那些对我说“啊哈，啊哈”的，因自己的耻辱而惊恐。

願那些對我說阿哈、阿哈的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧難當！

願那些對我說：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而驚惶。

願那譏誚我說：『呵哈！呵哈！』的都因失望而驚駭。

願那些對我說「啊哈，啊哈」的，因自己的恥辱而驚恐。

向我曰嘻嘻者、願其慚怍而驚駭兮、

有謂予曰、吁哉咈哉、爾當使彼煢然孑立、以報斯讐兮、

向我幸災樂禍者、願其羞愧敗亡、

務使謀我者。無所施其伎。

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame.

Some people make fun of me. Let them be shocked when their plans fail.

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me,“ Aha, Aha!”

Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said,“ Aha! We’ve got him now!”

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be appalled because of their shame.

May those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be confounded because of their shame, Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let those who say to me,“ Aha, aha!” be horrified because of their shame.

Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me,“ Aha! Aha!”

They are ready to devour me; they say,“ Aha! Aha! We’ve got you!”

Do not let them say to themselves,“ Aha! We have what we wanted!” Do not let them say,“ We have devoured him!”

How desolate they become in a mere moment! Terrifying judgments make their demise complete!

Appoint an evil man to testify against him! May an accuser stand at his right side!When he is judged, he will be found guilty! Then his prayer will be regarded as sinful.May his days be few! May another take his job!May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow!May his children roam around begging, asking for handouts as they leave their ruined home!May the creditor seize all he owns! May strangers loot his property!May no one show him kindness! May no one have compassion on his fatherless children!May his descendants be cut off! May the memory of them be wiped out by the time the next generation arrives!May his ancestors’ sins be remembered by the LORD! May his mother’s sin not be forgotten!May the LORD be constantly aware of them, and cut off the memory of his children from the earth!For he never bothered to show kindness; he harassed the oppressed and needy, and killed the disheartened.He loved to curse others, so those curses have come upon him. He had no desire to bless anyone, so he has experienced no blessings.He made cursing a way of life, so curses poured into his stomach like water and seeped into his bones like oil.May a curse attach itself to him, like a garment one puts on, or a belt one wears continually!May the LORD repay my accusers in this way, those who say evil things about me!

May those who say,“ Aha! Aha!” be driven back and disgraced!May all those who seek you be happy and rejoice in you! May those who love to experience your deliverance say continually,“ May God be praised!”

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and surround you and close in on you from every side.They will demolish you– you and your children within your walls– and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

Pour out your judgment on them! May your raging anger overtake them!May their camp become desolate, their tents uninhabited!

Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing their babies in those days! For there will be great distress on the earth and wrath against this people.They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away as captives among all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
