Let all those who are trying to kill me be put to shame. Let them lose their way. Let all those who want to destroy me be turned back in shame.

Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!

May those who try to destroy me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.

Let those who intend to take my life be disgraced and confounded. Let those who wish me harm be turned back and humiliated.

願那些喜歡我遭難的，一同蒙羞抱愧；願那些對我妄自尊大的，都披上慚愧和恥辱。

看哪！向你發怒的都必蒙羞受辱；與你相爭的人，都要如同無有，並要滅亡。

人論到我必說：‘只有在耶和華裡面才有公義和能力’；向他發怒的，都必來到他面前，並且要蒙羞。

耶穌一說“我就是”，他們就往後退，倒在地上。

我的仇敵轉身退後的時候，就在你的面前絆倒、滅亡。

他仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對他說：“掃羅，掃羅！你為甚麼迫害我？”他說：“主啊，你是誰？”主說：“我就是你所迫害的耶穌。起來，進城去！你應當作的事，一定有人告訴你。”

他不歸榮耀給神，所以主的使者立刻擊打他，他被蟲咬，就斷了氣。神的道日漸興旺，越發廣傳。

耶和華啊！求你不要使我羞愧，因為我向你呼求；求你使惡人羞愧，使他們在陰間靜寂無聲。那些逞驕傲，態度輕慢，說話狂傲攻擊義人的，願他們說謊的嘴唇啞而無聲。

願那些尋索我性命的，抱愧蒙羞；願那些喜悅我遭害的，退後受辱。願那些對我說：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧退後。

佃戶看見他的兒子，就彼此說：‘這是繼承產業的；來，我們殺了他，佔有他的產業吧！’於是他們抓住他，把他推出葡萄園外殺了。那麼，葡萄園的主人來到的時候，會怎樣對待那些佃戶呢？”他們回答：“他會毫不留情地除掉那些惡人，把葡萄園租給按時繳納果子的佃戶。”
