願幸災樂禍的人蒙羞受辱，自高自大的人無地自容！

「看啊，向你發怒的人必抱愧蒙羞；與你為敵的人都要滅亡，歸於無有。

他們必說，『只有耶和華那裡才有公義和能力。』」向祂發怒的必在祂面前蒙羞。

他們聽到耶穌說「我就是」，便後退跌倒在地上。

我的仇敵必在你面前敗退，倒地身亡。

他倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：「掃羅！掃羅！你為什麼迫害我？」他說：「主啊，你是誰？」那聲音說：「我就是你所迫害的耶穌。起來！進城去，有人會告訴你該做的事。」

希律沒有把榮耀歸給上帝，主的天使立刻懲罰他，他當場被蟲子咬死了。上帝的道日見興旺，越傳越廣。

耶和華啊，我曾向你呼求，求你不要叫我蒙羞。求你使惡人蒙羞，寂然無聲地躺在陰間。願你堵住撒謊之人的口，他們驕傲自大，狂妄地攻擊義人。

願謀取我性命的人蒙羞受辱，願喜歡我遭害的人狼狽逃竄。願那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧而退。

然而，那些佃戶看見園主的兒子來了，就商量說，『這是園主的繼承人。來吧！我們殺掉他，佔了他的產業！』於是，他們抓住他，把他推出園外殺了。那麼，當園主回來的時候，他會怎樣處置那些佃戶呢？」他們說：「他會毫不留情地除掉那些惡人，然後把葡萄園租給其他按時交果子的佃戶。」
