“看啊，向你发怒的人必抱愧蒙羞；与你为敌的人都要灭亡，归于无有。

他们必说，‘只有耶和华那里才有公义和能力。’”向祂发怒的必在祂面前蒙羞。

他们听到耶稣说“我就是”，便后退跌倒在地上。

我的仇敌必在你面前败退，倒地身亡。

他倒在地上，听见有声音对他说：“扫罗！扫罗！你为什么迫害我？”他说：“主啊，你是谁？”那声音说：“我就是你所迫害的耶稣。起来！进城去，有人会告诉你该做的事。”

希律没有把荣耀归给上帝，主的天使立刻惩罚他，他当场被虫子咬死了。上帝的道日见兴旺，越传越广。

耶和华啊，我曾向你呼求，求你不要叫我蒙羞。求你使恶人蒙羞，寂然无声地躺在阴间。愿你堵住撒谎之人的口，他们骄傲自大，狂妄地攻击义人。

愿谋取我性命的人蒙羞受辱，愿喜欢我遭害的人狼狈逃窜。愿那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧而退。

然而，那些佃户看见园主的儿子来了，就商量说，‘这是园主的继承人。来吧！我们杀掉他，占了他的产业！’于是，他们抓住他，把他推出园外杀了。那么，当园主回来的时候，他会怎样处置那些佃户呢？”他们说：“他会毫不留情地除掉那些恶人，然后把葡萄园租给其他按时交果子的佃户。”
