For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.

There are more troubles all around me than I can count. My sins have caught up with me, and I can’t see any longer. My sins are more than the hairs of my head. I have lost all hope.

我的罪孽高過我頭，如同重擔太重，我擔不起。

我的肉體我的心腸衰殘；但上帝是我心靠的磐石，是我的業分到永遠。

無緣無故恨我的、比我的頭髮還多；施欺詐與我為仇的、比我的骨頭強盛；我沒有搶奪的、難道我必須償還麼？

自己的錯誤誰能明白呢？求你將我隱而不顯的過錯視為無辜。

死亡的繩索纏繞着我，陰間的困苦抓住了我；我被患難愁苦抓住時，

那收稅人卻遠遠地站着，連舉目望天也不敢，只捶着胸膛說：「上帝啊，開恩憐憫我這個罪人哦！」我告訴你們，這個人下去、到他家裏，比那人倒算為無罪了。因為凡自高的必被降卑，自己謙卑的必被升高。』

因為基督也曾儘一次為我們的罪而受死，義的替不義的，為要領我們進到上帝面前。在肉身裏、他是被處死了，但在靈裏、他卻得存活了。

由於懼怕、以及對那即將臨到天下之事的期待慌，人都昏絕了；因為天上的列強萬象必被搖動。

我們都如同羊、走迷了途，各人偏向自行的路；永恆主卻使我們眾人的罪孽罪罰都集歸在他身上。

就對弟兄們說：『我的銀子都退回來了；你看，正在我的布袋裏呢！他們都魂飛魄散，大家都戰戰兢兢，彼此說：『上帝這樣辦我們，是甚麼意思呢？』

不要遠離我，因為我遭了難；走近我吧，因為沒有幫助我的。有許多公牛圍繞着我；有巴珊的雄壯公牛困住我。他們向我張開着嘴，像獅子在抓撕、在吼叫。我如同水被倒出；我的骨頭都脫了節；我的心變像了蠟，竟熔化於臟腑中；我的精力枯乾、如同瓦器；我的舌頭貼在牙床上；你放我於死地之塵土中。因為狗犬之類圍着我；作壞事者之羣環繞着我；他們扎了我的手和腳；我的骨頭、我都能數算；他們瞪着眼看我，大家分我的衣服，拈鬮要我的服裝。但是你呢，永恆主啊，不要遠離我；我的助力啊，快來幫助我。

因為我們的大祭司並不是一位不能同情於我們的種種軟弱的，乃是一位在各方面同樣受過試誘、卻沒有罪的。
