我必在平安中躺下並睡著；因為唯獨你——耶和華啊，你使我安然居住！

予坦懷偃息、蓋令我安然而居者、惟耶和華兮、

予安然偃卧、錫我安居、惟耶和華而已。

我得安然偃臥、惟主令我坦然而居、

主已將天樂。貯我腔子裏。人情樂豐年。有酒多且旨。豐年誠足樂。美酒豈無味。未若我心中。一團歡愉意。

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

And you would be secure, because there is hope; Yes, you would dig around you, and take your rest in safety.You would also lie down, and no one would make you afraid; Yes, many would court your favor.

‘ so you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety.Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill, and dwell there in safety.

But when you cross over the Jordan and dwell in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that you dwell in safety,

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.

Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

In that day I will make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely.

who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

“ I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say,‘ Destroy!’Then Israel shall dwell in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew.Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, And you shall tread down their high places.”
