人無百年好。花無百日香。

“ Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be.

People are only shadows as they go here and there. They rush around, but it doesn’t mean anything. They pile up wealth, but they don’t know who will finally get it.

Surely a man goes about as a shadow! Surely for nothing they are in turmoil; man heaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.

Yes, a person goes about like a mere shadow. Indeed, they rush around in vain, gathering possessions without knowing who will get them.

Certainly every person walks around as a fleeting shadow; They certainly make an uproar for nothing; He amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.

For to the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him who pleases God. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.

Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.

and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

“ But God said to him,‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Those riches perish by misfortune, and if he has fathered a son, there is nothing in his hand.

casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.

For there are many words that create vanity. What does that profit man?For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he spends like a shadow? For who can tell a man what will be after him under the sun?

“ Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher.“ All is vanity!”

Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.

Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;he may prepare it, but the just will put it on, and the innocent will divide the silver.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones.

Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.

For he sees that wise men die; likewise the fool and the senseless perish, and leave their wealth to others.Their inward thought is that their houses will endure forever, and their dwelling places to all generations. They name their lands after themselves.

I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a chasing after wind.

I also gathered silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and of the provinces. I got myself male and female singers, and the delights of the sons of men: musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

For,“ All flesh is like grass, and all of man’s glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls;

There is no end to all of his labor, neither are his eyes satisfied with wealth.“ For whom then, do I labor and deprive my soul of enjoyment?” This also is vanity. Yes, it is a miserable business.

for riches are not forever, nor does the crown endure to all generations.

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored for the righteous.

Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.
