My heart was hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned. I spoke with my tongue:

中心默想、如炙如焚、不禁大放厥詞、

我心在身中發熱、默想之時、如火焚燒、乃啟口出言、

因此守緘默。索然寡歡愉。知音不可望。幽衷共誰賞。

my heart grew hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue:

My heart was deeply troubled. As I thought about what was happening to me, I became even more troubled. Then I spoke out.

The more I thought about it, the hotter I got, igniting a fire of words:

my anxiety intensified. As I thought about it, I became impatient. Finally I spoke these words:

They said to one another,“ Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”

If I say, I will not make mention of him, or speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in. I can’t.

So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and Yahweh’s hand was strong on me.
