我謂必謹我行、免舌干咎、惡人當前、必箝我口兮、

我曾说：“我要谨慎我的言行，免得我舌头犯罪；恶人在我面前的时候，我要用嚼环勒住我的口。”

予飭我躬、謹我行、不以舌取戾、惡人在側、當箝口而慎言兮。

我嘗云、我必謹慎行為、免舌犯罪、當惡人在前、我必封閉我口、

I said,“ I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked.”

I said,“ I will be careful about how I live. I will not sin by what I say. I will keep my mouth closed when I am near sinful people.”

I said,“ I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle, so long as the wicked are in my presence.”

I said to myself,“ I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will hold my tongue when the ungodly are around me.”

I said,“ I will guard my ways so that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle as long as the wicked are in my presence.”

I said,“ I will keep watch over my ways So that I do not sin with my tongue; I will keep watch over my mouth as with a muzzle While the wicked are in my presence.”

I said,“ I will guard my ways, Lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle, While the wicked are before me.”

I said, I will take heed to my ways, That I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, While the wicked is before me.

I said,“ I will guard my ways so that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle as long as the wicked are in my presence.”

I decided,“ I will watch what I say and make sure I do not sin with my tongue. I will put a muzzle over my mouth while in the presence of an evil man.”

少者何以潔其品行、惟依爾言自慎兮、

守口舌者、保生免害、

人若自以為虔敬、而不捫其舌、自欺其心、其虔敬虛矣、

致耶和華應其指我所言曰、若爾子孫、慎其道途、一心一意行於我前、真實無妄、則爾必不乏人、踐以色列國位、

耶和華歟、其守我口、而監我脣兮、

夫我儕於事多蹶、惟言語無蹶者、是為完人、能範其身、若置勒於馬口、使之馴服、則可馭其一身、試觀諸舟如彼其大、且為狂風所盪、運以小舵、則隨舵師所欲、如是、舌為小體、而誇大焉、些須之火、能燃若大之林、舌乃火、於百體中為不義之寰區、玷污一身、爇畢生之行動、其火乃由地獄也、蓋凡禽獸昆蟲鱗介皆可制、且已為人制、惟舌莫能制、乃不息之惡、充以死毒焉、

爾於外人、當以智而行、光陰是惜、

然耶戶不專心注意、遵行以色列上帝耶和華之法律、不離棄耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、○

勿信鄰里、勿恃友朋、對爾懷中之婦、亦守爾口、蓋子藐其父、女敵其母、媳敵其姑、人之仇讐、即其家人也、○

我心默俟上帝、我之拯救、自彼而施兮、

故我儕當益慎所聞者、恐或遺之、

當捫爾舌、勿出惡言、宜緘爾口、勿道詐語、

曰、爾出言、如愚婦也、我儕自上帝受福、不亦受禍乎、約伯於此諸事、未嘗以口干罪、○

坦平爾步履、穩固爾道途、勿偏左右、移爾足遠於惡、

偕之者、又有希幔、耶杜頓、及其餘被簡、名錄於册者、稱謝耶和華、以其慈惠永存也、

彼曰、我舌獲勝、口為我有、誰為我主兮、

我呼籲上帝、向上帝發聲、彼必垂聽兮、

姍笑乎人、以惡意發暴語、吐屬高狂兮、口談上天、舌遊全地、

大衛與諸軍長、簡立亞薩希幔耶杜頓子孫、俾供役事、以琴瑟與鈸謳歌、供役事者、其數如左、亞薩子撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅、亞薩利拉、俱為亞薩所轄、遵王命而謳歌、耶杜頓子基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每六人、俱為其父耶杜頓所轄、以琴謳歌、稱謝頌讚耶和華、希幔子布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀、此皆希幔之子、任吹角之職、希幔奉上帝命、為王之先見、上帝賜之子十四、女三、俱為其父所轄、以鈸與琴瑟、謳歌於耶和華室、供上帝室之役事、亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔、乃王命是聽、

生死之權在舌、好用之者、必食其果、
