五內焦如焚。奄奄存一息。徒此長呻吟。

All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.

Lord, everything I really want is clearly known to you. You always hear me when I sigh.

You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.

Because of the anxiety that makes me groan, my bones protrude from my skin.

I am exhausted as I groan; all night long I drench my bed in tears; my tears saturate the cushion beneath me.

LORD, you have heard the request of the oppressed; you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.

in order to hear the painful cries of the prisoners, and to set free those condemned to die,

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our heavenly dwelling,

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God’s will.

Nathanael asked him,“ How do you know me?” Jesus replied,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
