爰爾震怒、我體不痊、因予罪戾、我躬弗安、

因主震怒、我肉無完膚、因我犯罪、我骨不安寧、

神箭着微軀。霆威逼吾身。

Because of your wrath there is no health in my body; there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin.

Because of your anger, my whole body is sick. Because of my sin, I’m not healthy.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation; there is no health in my bones because of my sin.

My whole body is sick because of your judgment; I am deprived of health because of my sin.

Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am weak; heal me, LORD, for my bones are shaking;

Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

Why do you want more beatings? Why do you keep on rebelling? The whole head is hurt, and the whole heart is sick.From the sole of the foot even to the head, no spot is uninjured— wounds, welts, and festering sores not cleansed, bandaged, or soothed with oil.

Let’s examine and probe our ways, and turn back to the LORD.Let’s lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:“ We have sinned and rebelled; you have not forgiven.

So Satan left the LORD’s presence and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.Then Job took a piece of broken pottery to scrape himself while he sat among the ashes.

For my days vanish like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.

Because of the sound of my groaning, my flesh sticks to my bones.

Be gracious to me, LORD, because I am in distress; my eyes are worn out from frustration— my whole being as well.Indeed, my life is consumed with grief and my years with groaning; my strength has failed because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away.
