I have many aggressive enemies; they hate me without reason.

我敵敏捷壯強、妄憾我者、實繁有徒兮、

惟彼敵人勇毅強悍、憾予者眾、出於無因兮、

我之仇敵存活興盛、無故怨恨我者眾多、

願承平生罪。翼翼自小心。

Many have become my enemies without cause; those who hate me without reason are numerous.

Though I have done nothing to cause it, many people have become my enemies. They hate me without any reason.

But my foes are vigorous, they are mighty, and many are those who hate me wrongfully.

But my enemies are vigorous and powerful; many hate me for no reason.

But my enemies are vigorous and strong, And those who wrongfully hate me are many.

But my enemies are vigorous, and they are strong; And those who hate me wrongfully have multiplied.

But mine enemies are lively, and are strong; And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me.

I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.Do you remember what I told you?‘ A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.Anyone who hates me also hates my Father.If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures:‘ They hated me without cause.’

O God, have mercy on me, for people are hounding me. My foes attack me all day long.I am constantly hounded by those who slander me, and many are boldly attacking me.

See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me!

Those who hate me without cause outnumber the hairs on my head. Many enemies try to destroy me with lies, demanding that I give back what I didn’t steal.

Rescue me from my enemies, O God. Protect me from those who have come to destroy me.Rescue me from these criminals; save me from these murderers.They have set an ambush for me. Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord, though I have not sinned or offended them.
