主歟、我惟仰望主、主我之天主必應允我、

如啞又如聾。委曲求和平。

Lord, I wait for you to help me. Lord my God, I know you will answer.

For I am waiting for you, O Lord. You must answer for me, O Lord my God.

For I put my hope in you, LORD; you will answer me, my Lord, my God.

For in You, O Lord, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God.

For in thee, O Jehovah, do I hope: Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

“ But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.

I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven.As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured no end of contempt.

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
