耶和華歟、我企望爾、我主上帝必應之兮、

禱曰、耶和華我之主、我之上帝兮、我惟爾是望、爾其俯聞兮、恐予傾跌兮、敵人誇詡、欣喜不勝兮、

主歟、我惟仰望主、主我之天主必應允我、

如啞又如聾。委曲求和平。

Lord, I wait for you; you will answer, Lord my God.

But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.

For I am waiting for you, O Lord. You must answer for me, O Lord my God.

For I put my hope in you, LORD; you will answer me, my Lord, my God.

For in You, O Lord, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God.

For I hope in you, Yahweh. You will answer, Lord my God.

And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.

In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

Unto thee do I lift up mine eyes, O thou that sittest in the heavens.Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes look unto Jehovah our God, Until he have mercy upon us.Have mercy upon us, O Jehovah, have mercy upon us; For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

I have called upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O God: Incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
