兢兢守主道。必蒙主提挈。賜爾承大地。親見眾逆滅。

你当倚靠耶和华而行善，住在地上，以他的信实为粮；

你当默然倚靠耶和华，耐性等候他；不要因那道路通达的和那恶谋成就的心怀不平。

惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。

因为作恶的必被剪除；惟有等候耶和华的必承受地土。

你不要说，我要以恶报恶；要等候耶和华，他必拯救你。

神也要毁灭你，直到永远；他要把你拿去，从你的帐棚中抽出，从活人之地将你拔出。细拉义人要看见而惧怕，并要笑他，

你却高举了我的角，如野牛的角；我是被新油膏了的。我眼睛看见仇敌遭报；我耳朵听见那些起来攻击我的恶人受罚。

你惟亲眼观看，见恶人遭报。

因为，凡自高的，必降为卑；自卑的，必升为高。”

正直人的道是远离恶事；谨守己路的，是保全性命。

所以，你们要自卑，服在神大能的手下，到了时候，他必叫你们升高。

你的眼目要向前正看；你的眼睛当向前直观。要修平你脚下的路，坚定你一切的道。不可偏向左右；要使你的脚离开邪恶。

他施舍钱财，周济贫穷；他的仁义存到永远。他的角必被高举，大有荣耀。

然而，义人要持守所行的道；手洁的人要力上加力。

叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验仍然能坏的金子更显宝贵，可以在耶稣基督显现的时候得着称赞、荣耀、尊贵。
