兢兢守主道。必蒙主提挈。賜爾承大地。親見眾逆滅。

Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.

你要在耶和华面前静默，耐心等候他；不要因那道路通达、施行诡计的人而心怀不平。

但是忍耐到底的，这个人将会得救。

因为作恶的必被剪除，唯有等候耶和华的必继承地土。

你不可说：“我要以恶报恶”；你当等候耶和华，他必拯救你。

为此神要把你永久拆毁，他会抓住你，把你从帐篷里拖出来，把你从活人之地连根拔出。细拉义人看见，就会心存敬畏，并且讥笑这人：

你高举了我的角，使它如同野牛的角；你用新油膏抹了我。我的眼睛会看到我的仇敌灭亡，我的耳朵会听到起来攻击我的作恶者被打散。

你只要用眼观看，就会看到恶人的报应。

因为每一个自我高举的都会被降卑；而自我降卑的都会被高举。”

正直人的大道，远离恶事；谨守自己道路的，保守自己的性命。

所以，你们当在神大能的手下降卑，好让他在所定的时候高举你们。

你的眼目要向前观看，你的目光要直视前方。你要度量脚下的路径，你一切的道路就会被确立。你不要偏右，也不要偏左，要使你的脚离开恶事。

他施舍、给予贫穷人，他的公义将存留到永远，他的角将在荣耀中被高举。

好让你们的信仰经过考验，就比那被火炼过仍然会朽坏的金子更加宝贵，能在耶稣基督显现的时候，被看为是可以得着称赞、荣耀和尊贵的。
