爾當仰望主、遵守主之道、主必使爾高升而得地為業、親眼得見惡人滅絕、

兢兢守主道。必蒙主提挈。賜爾承大地。親見眾逆滅。

Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.

你要等候耶和華，要剛強，要堅定你的心，要等候耶和華。

可是他知道我所行的道路，他試煉我以後，我必像精金出現。我的腳緊隨他的腳步，我謹守他的道，並不偏離。他嘴唇的命令我沒有離棄，我珍藏他口中的言語在我的心胸，勝過我需用的飲食（“勝過我需用的飲食”或可參照《七十士譯本》等古譯本翻譯為“在我的心胸”）。

你要倚靠耶和華，並要行善；你要住在地上，以信實為糧食。

你要在耶和華面前靜默無聲，耐心地等候他；不要因那凡事順利的，和那惡謀得逞的，心懷不平。

唯有堅忍到底的，必然得救。

因為作惡的必被剪除，但等候耶和華的必承受地土。

你不要說：“我要以惡報惡”；要等候耶和華，他必拯救你。

神必把你永遠拆毀；他必把你挪去，把你從帳棚中揪出來，把你從活人之地連根拔起。（細拉）義人必看見而懼怕；他們必譏笑他，說：

你卻高舉了我的角，像野牛的角；你用新油膏抹我。我親眼看見那些窺伺我的人遭報，我親耳聽見那些起來攻擊我的惡人受罰。

不過你要親眼觀看，看見惡人遭報。

因為凡高抬自己的，必要降卑；自己謙卑的，必要升高。”

正直人的大道遠離罪惡；謹守自己道路的，保全自己的性命。

所以你們要謙卑，服在神大能的手下，到了時候，他必叫你們升高。

你雙眼要向前正視，你的眼睛要向前直望。你要謹慎你腳下的路徑，你一切所行的就必穩妥。不可偏左偏右，要使你的腳遠離惡事。

他廣施錢財，賙濟窮人；他的仁義存到永遠；他的角必被高舉，大有榮耀。

義人必堅守自己的道路，手潔的人要力上加力。

是要叫你們的信心經過試驗，就比那被火煉過，仍會朽壞的金子更寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候，得著稱讚、榮耀和尊貴。
