兢兢守主道。必蒙主提挈。賜爾承大地。親見眾逆滅。

但祂知道我的一举一动，我被祂试炼后必如纯金。我紧随祂的脚步，持守祂的道，没有偏离。我没有违背祂的诫命，我珍视祂的话语胜过我日用的饮食。

要信靠耶和华，要行善，要在这片土地上安然度日。

要在耶和华面前安静，耐心等候祂，不要因恶人道路通达、阴谋得逞而愤愤不平。

但坚忍到底的必定得救。

因为作恶的终必灭亡，但等候耶和华的必承受土地。

不要说：“我要以恶报恶”，要等候耶和华替你申冤。

上帝必永远毁灭你，祂必抓住你，把你从家里拉出来，从活人之地铲除。（细拉）义人看见必心生敬畏，他们必嘲笑说：

你使我强壮如野牛，你用新油浇灌我。我亲眼看见我的敌人被击溃，亲耳听见那些攻击我的恶人被打败。

你必亲眼目睹恶人受惩罚。

因为自高的人必遭贬抑，谦卑的人必得尊荣。”

正直人的大道远离罪恶，坚守正道的保全性命。

所以你们要在上帝大能的手下谦卑，时候到了，祂必擢升你们。

眼睛要正视前方，双目要向前直看。要铺平脚下的路，使所行之道稳妥。不可偏右偏左，要远离恶事。

他慷慨施舍，周济穷人；他的仁义永远长存；他必充满力量，得享尊荣。

义人坚守自己的道，手洁的人力量倍增。

这样，你们的信心经过试验便显明是真实的，比那经过火炼仍会坏掉的金子更加宝贵，使你们可以在耶稣基督显现时得到称赞、荣耀和尊贵。
