夫天主訓爾如子、爾豈已忘之乎？其言曰：『吾兒莫輕鍛鍊恩、受主懲責毋灰心；正惟主認爾為子、鞭笞備加爾之身。』

飢者飫珍饈、富人赤手退。扶植僕義塞、舊恩依然在；每許我列祖、恩諾終不改；矜憐亞伯漢、苗裔永見愛。』

白髮莫相違。俾竟平生志。綦願將大德。宣示我後裔。

垂老莫見絕。衰邁莫見棄。

同行者有凱塞里門徒、且攜納遜與俱。納遜者居比路人、夙奉教、即吾儕在耶路撒冷時之居停主人也。

嗟群犬之狺狺兮。乘暮夜而狂吠。

茲有美事、予本可托賴基督、毅然命爾行之；惟為成全愛德、寧以勸勉出之。我葆樂已龍鍾老矣；今且為基督耶穌之故、而遭受禁錮；

兒孫作流氓。行乞於異域。
