But sinful people will die. The Lord’ s enemies may be like flowers in the field. But they will be swallowed up. They will disappear like smoke.

恶人却要灭亡。耶和华的仇敌要像羊羔的脂油；他们要消灭，要如烟消灭。

恶人却要灭亡。耶和华的仇敌要像草地的华美；他们要毁灭，在烟中消失。

作惡之人、為耶和華仇、必致死亡、如佳卉凋零、如烟燄散滅兮。

惡人必致滅亡、憾主之人、必如曠野之花草枯萎、必然消滅、如浮煙之消滅、

群小自作孽。敢與主為敵。夭夭復灼灼。一開即凋落。茅草亂蓬蓬。一燒便成空。

But evil men will die; the LORD’s enemies will be incinerated– they will go up in smoke.

My days are disappearing like smoke. My body burns like glowing coals.

May you, God, blow them away like smoke. As fire melts wax, so may God destroy sinful people.

“ Lord, may all your enemies be destroyed. But may all who love you be like the morning sun. May they be like the sun when it shines the brightest.” So the land was at peace for 40 years.

May he bless it with the best crops the sun can produce. May he bless it with the finest crops the moon can give.May he bless it with the best products of the age- old mountains. May he bless it with the many crops of the ancient hills.May he bless it with the best gifts that fill the earth. May he bless it with the favor of the God who spoke out of the burning bush. Let all these blessings rest on the head of Joseph. Let them rest on the head of the one who is prince among his brothers.

I tell you, no! But unless you turn away from your sins, you will all die too.

Lord, your enemies will certainly die. All those who do evil will be scattered.

Our“ God is like a fire that burns everything up.”( Deuteronomy 4:24)

The Lord will never be willing to forgive those people. His great anger will blaze out against them. All the curses I’ve written down in this book will fall on them. And the Lord will erase any mention of them from the earth.

Part of the friendship offering must be given to the Lord as a food offering. It must include all the fat that is connected to them.It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. It must also include the long part of the liver. All of it must be removed together with the kidneys.Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must burn it on the altar. They must burn it on top of the burnt offering that is lying on the burning wood. It is a food offering. Its smell pleases the Lord.“‘ Suppose someone brings an animal from the flock as a friendship offering to the Lord. It can be either male or female. It must not have any flaws.If they bring a lamb, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.They must place their hand on the lamb’s head. It must be killed there in front of the tent of meeting. Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must splash its blood against the sides of the altar.Part of the offering must be brought as a sacrifice presented to the Lord. It must include the lamb’s fat and the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone. It must include all the fat that is connected to them.It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. The offering must also include the long part of the liver. That must be removed together with the kidneys.Then the priest must burn the offering on the altar as food. It is a food offering presented to the Lord.

I tell you, no! But unless you turn away from your sins, you will all die too.”

These people speak evil about things they don’t understand. They are like wild animals who can’t think. Instead, they do what comes naturally to them. They are born only to be caught and destroyed. Just like animals, these people too will die.

He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and the whole valley. He saw thick smoke rising from the land. It looked like smoke from a furnace.

Then the priest must burn the offering on the altar as food. It is a food offering. It has a pleasant smell. All the fat belongs to the Lord.
