愿恨恶锡安的都蒙羞退后！愿他们像房顶上的草，未长成而枯干，收割的不够一把，捆禾的也不满怀。

等我进了神的圣所，思想他们的结局。你实在把他们安在滑地，使他们掉在沉沦之中。他们转眼之间成了何等的荒凉！他们被惊恐灭尽了。人睡醒了，怎样看梦；主啊，你醒了也必照样轻看他们的影像。

恶人夸胜是暂时的，不敬虔人的喜乐不过转眼之间吗？他的尊荣虽达到天上，头虽顶到云中，他终必灭亡，像自己的粪一样；素来见他的人要说：‘他在哪里呢？’他必飞去如梦，不再寻见，速被赶去，如夜间的异象。亲眼见过他的，必不再见他；他的本处也再见不着他。

出来如花，又被割下，飞去如影，不能存留。

我见过恶人大有势力，好像一棵青翠树在本土生发。有人从那里经过，不料，他没有了；我也寻找他，却寻不着。

你叫他们如水冲去；他们如睡一觉。早晨，他们如生长的草，早晨发芽生长，晚上割下枯干。

富足的降卑，也该如此；因为他必要过去，如同草上的花一样。太阳出来，热风刮起，草就枯干，花也凋谢，美容就消没了；那富足的人，在他所行的事上也要这样衰残。

恶人茂盛如草，一切作孽之人发旺的时候，正是他们要灭亡，直到永远。

因为：“凡有血气的，尽都如草；他的美荣都像草上的花。草必枯干，花必凋谢；
