The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever.

Why should I be afraid in times of trouble, when the sinful deeds of deceptive men threaten to overwhelm me?

that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you,who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

However, God’s solid foundation remains standing, bearing this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and“ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from evil.”

He asked you to sustain his life, and you have granted him long life and an enduring dynasty.

But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.Then if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Christ!’ or‘ There he is!’ do not believe him.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

And I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.( These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.)If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and completely consumes their enemies. If anyone wants to harm them, they must be killed this way.

Preach the message, be ready whether it is convenient or not, reprove, rebuke, exhort with complete patience and instruction.For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things.And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths.

You determine my destiny! Rescue me from the power of my enemies and those who chase me.

But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come.For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self- control, savage, opposed to what is good,treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God.They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.

You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

All of your people will be godly; they will possess the land permanently. I will plant them like a shoot; they will be the product of my labor, through whom I reveal my splendor.

The Lord laughs in disgust at them, for he knows that their day is coming.

The bars of your gates will be made of iron and bronze, and may you have lifelong strength.

so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
