The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.

Sinners pull out their swords. They bend their bows. They want to kill poor and needy people. They plan to murder those who lead honest lives.

並且說：‘我們若活在我們祖先的時代，決不會與他們一同流先知的血。’這樣，你們就指證自己是殺害先知的人的子孫了。那麼，去完成你們祖先的罪孽吧！你們這些蛇，這些毒蛇所生的啊，你們怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？因此，我差派先知、智慧人和經學家到你們那裡；有些你們要殺害又釘在十字架上，有些你們要在會堂裡鞭打，從一個城趕逐到另一個城。

求你把我隱藏，使我脫離惡人的陰謀，脫離作孽的人的擾亂。他們磨快自己的舌頭，如同刀劍；他們吐出惡毒的言語，好像利箭，要在暗地裡射殺完全的人；他們忽然射殺他，毫不懼怕。他們彼此鼓勵，設下惡計，商議暗設網羅，說：“誰能看見它們呢？”他們圖謀奸惡，說：“我們設計了最精密的陰謀！”人的意念和心思實在深不可測。

我全身的骨頭都要說：“耶和華啊！有誰像你呢？你搭救困苦的人，脫離那些比他強盛的；搭救困苦和窮乏的人，脫離那些搶奪他的。”

彼得清醒過來，說：“現在我確實知道，主差他的天使來，救我脫離希律的手和猶太人所期望的一切。”

用刀殺了約翰的哥哥雅各。他見這事博得了猶太人的歡心，就在除酵節期間，再次捉拿彼得。

對大衛說：“你比我公義，因為你以良善待我，我卻以惡待你。

有哪一個先知，你們的祖先不迫害呢？你們殺了那些預先宣告那義者要來的人，現在又把那義者出賣了，殺害了。

我父啊，請看，你外袍的衣邊在我手中。我割下了你外袍的衣邊，卻沒有殺你。你從此可以知道，也可以看出我手中沒有邪惡，也沒有過犯。我雖然沒有得罪你，你卻要獵取我的性命。

不要像該隱，他是屬於那惡者的，他又殺了自己的弟弟。為甚麼殺他呢？因為他自己的行為是惡的，弟弟的行為是義的。

好流人血的恨惡完全人，並尋索正直人的性命。

他不歸榮耀給神，所以主的使者立刻擊打他，他被蟲咬，就斷了氣。

你的眼目純潔，不看邪惡，不能坐視奸惡；為甚麼見行詭詐的人而不理？惡人吞滅比自己公義的人，你為甚麼緘默呢？
