Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.

Your holiness is as great as the height of the highest mountains. You are as honest as the oceans are deep. Lord, you keep people and animals safe.

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.

The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.

Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep!

You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry.

At that time Jesus declared,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.

And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.

“ Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?It is higher than heaven— what can you do? Deeper than Sheol— what can you know?Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea.

If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind? Why have you made me your mark? Why have I become a burden to you?

You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earthand wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart.The trees of the Lord are watered abundantly, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.In them the birds build their nests; the stork has her home in the fir trees.The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting.You make darkness, and it is night, when all the beasts of the forest creep about.The young lions roar for their prey, seeking their food from God.When the sun rises, they steal away and lie down in their dens.Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening.O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.Here is the sea, great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great.There go the ships, and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it.These all look to you, to give them their food in due season.When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works,who looks on the earth and it trembles, who touches the mountains and they smoke!I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and let the wicked be no more! Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!

Plead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”

The Almighty— we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

“ The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

Righteous are you, O Lord, when I complain to you; yet I would plead my case before you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?

For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
