He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then[ it was] well[ with him: was] not this to know me? saith the LORD.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;

The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity[ that is] in me.Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.My defence[ is] of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me,[ saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me,[ and] in thy righteousness.And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished[ my] course, I have kept the faith:Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
