不要让他们心里说：“啊哈！这正是我们的心愿！”不要让他们说：“我们把他吞下去了！”

不要让他们心里说：“啊哈，这正如我们所愿！”不要让他们说：“我们已经把他吞掉了！”

不容他們心裏說：阿哈，遂我們的心願了！不容他們說：我們已經把他吞了！

別讓他們說：「哈哈，我們如願以償了！」別讓他們說：「我們除掉他了！」

不要讓他們心裡說：“啊哈！這正是我們的心願！”不要讓他們說：“我們把他吞下去了！”

別讓他們心裏說：『呵哈！正遂我們的心願！』別讓他們說：『我們把他吞下了！』

不要讓他們心裡說：「啊哈，這正如我們所願！」不要讓他們說：「我們已經把他吞掉了！」

勿容其心曰、嘻、適如我願、勿容彼曰、我已吞之兮、

毋使彼自鳴得意、肆其吞噬兮、

莫容其心中云、吁哉、我已得如願、莫容其言云、我已吞噬之、

彈冠共相慶。竟將彼吞滅。

你所有的仇敌张口来攻击你；他们嗤笑，切齿，说：“我们把她吞灭了，这是我们所盼望的日子！我们终于等到了，亲眼看见了！”

那时，人向我们发怒，就把我们活活吞了；

耶稣心中立刻知道他们心里这样议论，就说：“你们心里为什么这样议论呢？

他们心里说“我们要尽行毁灭”；就在遍地烧毁敬拜上帝聚会的所在。

当这会朽坏的变成不朽坏的，这会死的变成不会死的，那时经上所记“死亡已被胜利吞灭了”的话就应验了。

不要把我和坏人并作恶的一同除掉；他们跟邻舍说平安，心里却是奸恶。

求你不要把我交给敌人，遂其所愿；因为妄作见证的和口吐凶言的都起来攻击我。

他倚靠上帝，上帝若愿意，现在就来救他，因为他曾说‘我是上帝的儿子’。”

愿那些对我说“啊哈、啊哈”的，因羞愧退后。

仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，在他们身上满足我的心愿，我要拔刀，亲手毁灭他们。’

耶和华啊，求你不要遂恶人的心愿；不要成就他们的计谋，免得他们自高。（细拉）

有几个文士坐在那里，心里议论，说：

那践踏我的人辱骂我的时候，上帝必从天上施恩救我，（细拉）他必向我施行慈爱和信实。

上帝啊，求你怜悯我，因为有人践踏我，终日攻击欺压我。我的仇敌终日践踏我，逞骄傲攻击我的人很多。

我在以色列中是和平、忠诚的。你现在想要毁坏这城，以色列的根源，为何你要吞灭耶和华的产业呢？”

宴席的日子过了，约伯派人去叫他们自洁。他清早起来，按着他们众人的数目献燔祭，因为他说：“恐怕我的儿子犯了罪，心中背弃上帝。”约伯常常这样行。
