不容他們心裏說：「啊哈，遂我們的心願了！」不容他們說：「我們已經把他吞了！」

别让他们说：“哈哈，我们如愿以偿了！”别让他们说：“我们除掉他了！”

不要让他们心里说：“啊哈！这正是我们的心愿！”不要让他们说：“我们把他吞下去了！”

不要让他们心里说：“啊哈，这正如我们所愿！”不要让他们说：“我们已经把他吞掉了！”

不容他們心裏說：阿哈，遂我們的心願了！不容他們說：我們已經把他吞了！

不容他們心裏說：「啊哈，遂我們的心願了！」不容他們說：「我們已經把他吞了！」

別讓他們說：「哈哈，我們如願以償了！」別讓他們說：「我們除掉他了！」

不要讓他們心裡說：“啊哈！這正是我們的心願！”不要讓他們說：“我們把他吞下去了！”

別讓他們心裏說：『呵哈！正遂我們的心願！』別讓他們說：『我們把他吞下了！』

不要讓他們心裡說：「啊哈，這正如我們所願！」不要讓他們說：「我們已經把他吞掉了！」

勿容其心曰、嘻、適如我願、勿容彼曰、我已吞之兮、

毋使彼自鳴得意、肆其吞噬兮、

莫容其心中云、吁哉、我已得如願、莫容其言云、我已吞噬之、

彈冠共相慶。竟將彼吞滅。

Do not let them think,“ Aha, just what we wanted!” or say,“ We have swallowed him up.”

Don’t let them say in their heart,“ Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

你所有的仇敵張口來攻擊你；他們嗤笑，切齒，說：「我們把她吞滅了，這是我們所盼望的日子！我們終於等到了，親眼看見了！」

那時，人向我們發怒，就把我們活活吞了；

耶穌心中立刻知道他們心裏這樣議論，就說：「你們心裏為甚麼這樣議論呢？

他們心裏說「我們要盡行毀滅」；就在遍地燒燬敬拜神聚會的所在。

當這會朽壞的變成不朽壞的，這會死的變成不會死的，那時經上所記「死亡已被勝利吞滅了」的話就應驗了。

不要把我和壞人並作惡的一同除掉；他們跟鄰舍說平安，心裏卻是奸惡。

求你不要把我交給敵人，遂其所願；因為妄作見證的和口吐凶言的都起來攻擊我。

他倚靠神，神若願意，現在就來救他，因為他曾說『我是神的兒子』。」

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧退後。

仇敵說：『我要追趕，我要追上，我要分擄物，在他們身上滿足我的心願，我要拔刀，親手毀滅他們。』

耶和華啊，求你不要遂惡人的心願；不要成就他們的計謀，免得他們自高。（細拉）

有幾個文士坐在那裏，心裏議論，說：

那踐踏我的人辱罵我的時候，神必從天上施恩救我，（細拉）他必向我施行慈愛和信實。

神啊，求你憐憫我，因為有人踐踏我，終日攻擊欺壓我。我的仇敵終日踐踏我，逞驕傲攻擊我的人很多。

我在以色列中是和平、忠誠的。你現在想要毀壞這城，以色列的根源，為何你要吞滅耶和華的產業呢？」

宴席的日子過了，約伯派人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按着他們眾人的數目獻燔祭，因為他說：「恐怕我的兒子犯了罪，心中背棄神。」約伯常常這樣行。
