别让他们说：“哈哈，我们如愿以偿了！”别让他们说：“我们除掉他了！”

不要让他们心里说：“啊哈！这正是我们的心愿！”不要让他们说：“我们把他吞下去了！”

不要让他们心里说：“啊哈，这正如我们所愿！”不要让他们说：“我们已经把他吞掉了！”

不容他們心裏說：阿哈，遂我們的心願了！不容他們說：我們已經把他吞了！

別讓他們心裏說：『呵哈！正遂我們的心願！』別讓他們說：『我們把他吞下了！』

不要讓他們心裡說：「啊哈，這正如我們所願！」不要讓他們說：「我們已經把他吞掉了！」

勿容其心曰、嘻、適如我願、勿容彼曰、我已吞之兮、

毋使彼自鳴得意、肆其吞噬兮、

莫容其心中云、吁哉、我已得如願、莫容其言云、我已吞噬之、

彈冠共相慶。竟將彼吞滅。

你的仇敌都向你大大张口；他们嗤笑，又切齿说：“我们吞灭她。这真是我们所盼望的日子临到了！我们亲眼看见了！”

向我们发怒的时候，就把我们活活地吞了。

耶稣心中知道他们心里这样议论，就说：“你们心里为什么这样议论呢？

他们心里说：“我们要尽行毁灭。”他们就在遍地把神的会所都烧毁了。

这必朽坏的既变成不朽坏的，这必死的既变成不死的，那时经上所记“死被得胜吞灭”的话就应验了。

不要把我和恶人并作孽的一同除掉；他们与邻舍说和平话，心里却是奸恶。

求你不要把我交给敌人，遂其所愿；因为妄作见证的和口吐凶言的，起来攻击我。

他倚靠神，神若喜悦他，现在可以救他；因为他曾说：‘我是神的儿子。’”

愿那些对我说“阿哈、阿哈”的，因羞愧退后。

仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，我要在他们身上称我的心愿。我要拔出刀来，亲手杀灭他们。’

耶和华啊，求你不要遂恶人的心愿；不要成就他们的计谋，恐怕他们自高。细拉

有几个文士坐在那里，心里议论，说：

那要吞我的人辱骂我的时候，神从天上必施恩救我，也必向我发出慈爱和诚实。

神啊，求你怜悯我，因为人要把我吞了，终日攻击欺压我。我的仇敌终日要把我吞了，因逞骄傲攻击我的人甚多。

我们这城的人在以色列人中是和平、忠厚的。你为何要毁坏以色列中的大城，吞灭耶和华的产业呢？”

筵宴的日子过了，约伯打发人去叫他们自洁。他清早起来，按着他们众人的数目献燔祭；因为他说：“恐怕我儿子犯了罪，心中弃掉神。”约伯常常这样行。
