祂说信靠上帝，如果上帝喜悦祂，就让上帝来救祂吧！因为祂自称是上帝的儿子。”

愿那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧而退。

敌人说，‘追啊，追上他们，瓜分他们的财物，尽情地掳掠他们，拔出刀来把他们斩尽杀绝。’

耶和华啊，求你不要让恶人的愿望实现，不要让他们的阴谋得逞，免得他们狂妄自大。（细拉）

上帝从天上施助、拯救我，使迫害我的人蒙羞。上帝必彰显祂的慈爱和信实。

我们这座城的人在以色列素来热爱和平、忠心耿耿，你却要毁灭这座大城。你为什么要吞掉耶和华的产业？”

宴会的日子结束后，约伯便派人召来他的儿女，为他们行洁净礼。他清早起来，为他们每个人献上燔祭，因为他想：“也许我的孩子们犯了罪，心中亵渎了上帝。”约伯常常这样做。
