惟我遭難、彼眾歡聚、下流之輩、我不識者、集而攻我、裂之不已兮、

予也遭難、彼眾咸集、懽然以喜兮、譭謗沸騰、背予而詈、靡有底止兮、

至我遭難、彼眾反歡樂聚集、素不相識之匪類、亦皆聚集毀謗不止、

一朝我罹難。欣然相慶祝。落井更投石。心中懷叵測。

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing.

But when I tripped and fell, they were all very happy. Attackers gathered against me when I didn’t even know it. They kept on telling lies about me.

But at my stumbling they rejoiced and gathered; they gathered together against me; wretches whom I did not know tore at me without ceasing;

But they are glad now that I am in trouble; they gleefully join together against me. I am attacked by people I don’t even know; they slander me constantly.

免得他們像獅子撕裂我，甚至撕碎，無人搭救。

於是有人開始向他吐唾沫，又蒙着他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：「你說預言吧！」警衛把他拉過來，打他耳光。

神發怒撕裂我，逼迫我，向我咬牙切齒；我的敵人怒目瞪我。

我就要跌倒，我的痛苦常在我面前。

他們說：「他有怪病纏身，他已躺下，必不能再起來。」

坐在城門口的談論我，酒徒也以我為歌曲。

犬類圍着我，惡黨環繞我；他們扎了我的手、我的腳。

總督的兵把耶穌帶進總督府，把全營的兵都聚集在耶穌那裏。他們脫了他的衣服，穿上一件朱紅色的袍子，用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他頭上，拿一根蘆葦稈放在他右手裏，跪在他面前，戲弄他，說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」他們又向他吐唾沫，拿蘆葦稈打他的頭。

不容他們心裏說：「啊哈，遂我們的心願了！」不容他們說：「我們已經把他吞了！」願那喜歡我遭難的一同抱愧蒙羞！願那向我妄自尊大的披戴慚愧，蒙受羞辱！

至於我的性命，我好像躺臥在吞噬人的獅子當中；他們的牙齒是槍、箭，他們的舌頭是快刀。

你的仇敵跌倒，你不要歡喜，他傾倒，你的心不要快樂；恐怕耶和華看見就不喜悅，將怒氣從仇敵身上轉過來。

願災禍忽然臨到他身上！願他暗設的網羅纏住自己！願他落在其中遭災禍！

「但如今，比我年輕的人譏笑我；我曾藐視他們的父親，不放在我的牧羊犬中。他們的精力既已衰敗，手中的氣力於我何益？他們因窮乏飢餓，沒有生氣，在荒廢淒涼的幽暗中啃乾燥之地。他們在草叢之中採鹹草，羅騰樹的根成為他們的食物。他們從人羣中被趕出，人追喊他們如賊一般，以致他們住在荒谷，住在地洞和巖穴中。他們在草叢中叫喚，在荊棘下擠成一團。這都是愚頑卑微人的兒女；他們被鞭打，趕出境外。「現在這些人以我為歌曲，以我為笑談。他們厭惡我，躲避我，不住地吐唾沫在我臉上。神鬆開我的弓弦使我受苦，他們就在我面前脫去轡頭。這夥人在我右邊起來，他們推開我的腳，築災難之路攻擊我。

不喜歡不義，只喜歡真理；

但不信的猶太人心裏嫉妒，聚集了些市井流氓，搭夥成羣，煽動全城的人闖進耶孫的家，要把保羅和西拉帶到民眾那裏。

從那裏經過的人譏笑他，搖着頭，說：「你這拆毀殿、三日又建造起來的，救救你自己吧！如果你是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來呀！」眾祭司長、文士和長老也同樣嘲笑他，說：「他救了別人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，現在從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他倚靠神，神若願意，現在就來救他，因為他曾說『我是神的兒子』。」和他同釘的強盜也這樣譏諷他。

「我若見恨我的遇難就歡喜，見他遭災就高興；

譏笑窮乏人的，是蔑視造他的主；幸災樂禍的，難免受罰。

我的仇敵議論我，那些窺探要害我命的一同商議，說：「神已經離棄他；你們去追趕他，捉拿他吧！因為沒有人搭救。」

我聽見許多的毀謗，四圍都是驚嚇；連我知己朋友都看着我跌倒：「告他吧，我們要告他！或者他被引誘，我們就能勝他，在他身上報仇。」
