惟我遭難、彼眾歡聚、下流之輩、我不識者、集而攻我、裂之不已兮、

予也遭難、彼眾咸集、懽然以喜兮、譭謗沸騰、背予而詈、靡有底止兮、

至我遭難、彼眾反歡樂聚集、素不相識之匪類、亦皆聚集毀謗不止、

一朝我罹難。欣然相慶祝。落井更投石。心中懷叵測。

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing.

But when I tripped and fell, they were all very happy. Attackers gathered against me when I didn’t even know it. They kept on telling lies about me.

But at my stumbling they rejoiced and gathered; they gathered together against me; wretches whom I did not know tore at me without ceasing;

免得他們像獅子那樣撕裂我，撕碎我，也沒有人解救。

接著，有些人開始向他吐唾沫，蒙住他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：「你說預言吧！」差役們也用手掌打他。

是的，我快要跌倒了，我的痛苦一直在我面前。

「惡疾已臨到他身上，他躺下就再也不會起來！」

坐在城門口的人談論我，我成了醉酒之人的歌謠。

群狗圍繞我，一夥惡黨包圍我，他們刺穿我的雙手、我的雙腳；

那時，總督的士兵們把耶穌帶進總督府，召集了全隊士兵在他周圍。他們剝下耶穌的衣服，給他套上一件深紅色的袍子，用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他的頭上，又把一根蘆葦放在他的右手裡，然後跪在他面前，戲弄他說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」接著向他吐唾沫，拿蘆葦打他的頭。

不要讓他們心裡說：「啊哈，這正如我們所願！」不要讓他們說：「我們已經把他吞掉了！」願那些對我幸災樂禍的，全都抱愧蒙羞；願那些在我面前高抬自己的，披上恥辱和羞愧。

我的性命在獅子中間，我躺臥在吞滅人的世人當中；他們的牙齒是長矛和箭矢，他們的舌頭是銳利的刀劍。

你的仇敵跌倒時，你不要歡喜；他傾倒時，你的心不要快樂；免得耶和華看見，在他眼中看為惡，他就使他的怒氣從仇敵身上轉消。

願毀滅在他們不知不覺時臨到他們，願他們暗設的網羅纏住他們，願他們落在其中遭毀滅。

不為不義歡喜，而與真理同樂；

但那些不肯信從的猶太人嫉妒了，就招聚一些市井無賴，成群結夥，擾亂城市。他們闖進耶森的家，搜尋保羅和賽拉斯，要把他們帶到民眾那裡。

那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」同樣，祭司長們也與經文士們和長老們一起嘲笑，說：「他救了別人，卻不能救自己！他是以色列的王！現在讓他從十字架上下來吧，這樣我們就信靠他！他依靠神，如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧！因為他說過『我是神的兒子。』」與耶穌一起被釘十字架的強盜也同樣地責罵他。

嘲笑窮人的，就是辱罵造他的主；幸災樂禍的，難逃罪責。

因為我的仇敵議論我，伺機要害我命的人一同商議，他們說：「神已經離棄了他。追趕他，抓住他，因為沒有人救他！」
