The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;

The Lord looks with favor on those who are godly. His ears are open to their cry.

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.

Look, the LORD takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness

He does not take his eyes off the righteous; but with kings on the throne he seats the righteous and exalts them forever.

This oppressed man cried out and the LORD heard; he saved him from all his troubles.

O Lord, listen to me! Pay attention to my plea for mercy!

“ Now, my God, may you be attentive and responsive to the prayers offered in this place.

“ So now, our God, accept the prayer and requests of your servant, and show favor to your devastated sanctuary for your own sake.Listen attentively, my God, and hear! Open your eyes and look on our desolated ruins and the city called by your name. For it is not because of our own righteous deeds that we are praying to you, but because your compassion is abundant.O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Hezekiah took the letter from the messengers and read it.
