Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

众弟子啊，你们当来听我的话！我要将敬畏耶和华的道教训你们。

小子歟、來聽之、我以寅畏耶和華之道訓爾兮、

爾小子聽之、我將以畏耶和華之道示爾兮。

諸弟子皆來聽我之言、我將敬畏主之道訓誨爾曹、

壯獅有時飢。忠徒莫不適。

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee;So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding;Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding;If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures:Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God.For Jehovah giveth wisdom; Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to them that walk in integrity;That he may guard the paths of justice, And preserve the way of his saints.Then shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, And equity, yea, every good path.

Hear, my sons, the instruction of a father, And attend to know understanding:

Whom will he teach knowledge? and whom will he make to understand the message? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?

I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.

Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me; forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.

and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.

And he called to him a little child, and set him in the midst of them,and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Now therefore, my sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways.

Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth, and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thy heart, and in the sight of thine eyes; but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say unto you.
