The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.

Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me.

Sing a new song to the Lord, for he has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; his holy arm has shown his saving power!

David sang this song to the Lord on the day the Lord rescued him from all his enemies and from Saul.

He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord:“ I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord.

Then the king commanded his son Jerahmeel, Seraiah son of Azriel, and Shelemiah son of Abdeel to arrest Baruch and Jeremiah. But the Lord had hidden them.
