For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.

因此敬虔之士、宜乘可尋之際禱爾、大水氾濫、必不相及兮、

因此敬虔之士、於見納之時、禱告於爾、即使洪水泛濫、災不及身、

因此凡虔誠人、當在可蒙主恩之時、祈求主、洪水氾濫、必不臨及其身、

傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Let everyone who is faithful pray to you while they can still look to you. When troubles come like a flood, they certainly won’t reach those who are faithful.

Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.

Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Certainly in a flood of great waters, they will not reach him.

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to You at a time that You may be found. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

For this reason every one of your faithful followers should pray to you while there is a window of opportunity. Certainly when the surging water rises, it will not reach them.

Seek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

for he says,“ At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let’s exalt his name together.I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.

But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly: Yahweh will hear when I call to him.

You will seek me, and won’t find me. You can’t come where I am.”

He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.

I now rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.

Yahweh says,“ I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,

instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;

“ Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand.The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell— and great was its fall.”

The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth.The waters rose, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters.The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.The waters rose fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.All on the dry land, in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.

But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.

then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;then the proud waters would have gone over our soul.

Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners,

Then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;

saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”

The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.

However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.
