Let everyone who is faithful pray to you while they can still look to you. When troubles come like a flood, they certainly won’t reach those who are faithful.

为此，凡虔诚人都当趁你可寻找的时候祷告你；大水泛溢的时候，必不能到他那里。

为此，愿每个忠信者在能找到你的时候向你祷告；即使大水泛滥，也不能触及他。

為此，凡虔誠人都當趁你可尋找的時候禱告你；大水泛溢的時候，必不能到他那裏。

因此敬虔之士、宜乘可尋之際禱爾、大水氾濫、必不相及兮、

因此敬虔之士、於見納之時、禱告於爾、即使洪水泛濫、災不及身、

因此凡虔誠人、當在可蒙主恩之時、祈求主、洪水氾濫、必不臨及其身、

傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.

Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to You at a time that You may be found. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

For this reason every one of your faithful followers should pray to you while there is a window of opportunity. Certainly when the surging water rises, it will not reach them.

For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.

Turn to the Lord before it’s too late. Call out to him while he’s still ready to help you.

You will pass through deep waters. But I will be with you. You will pass through the rivers. But their waters will not sweep over you. You will walk through fire. But you will not be burned. The flames will not harm you.

He says,“ When I had mercy on you, I heard you. On the day I saved you, I helped you.”( Isaiah 49:8) I tell you, now is the time God has mercy. Now is the day he saves.

I will find my glory in knowing the Lord. Let those who are hurting hear me and be joyful.Join me in giving glory to the Lord. Let us honor him together.I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of.Those who look to him have joyful faces. They are never covered with shame.

You have sent wave upon wave of trouble over me. It roars down on me like a waterfall. All your waves and breakers have rolled over me.

Remember that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself. The Lord hears me when I call out to him.

You will look for me, but you won’t find me. You can’t come where I am going.”

He gave me a new song to sing. It is a hymn of praise to our God. Many people will see and have respect for the Lord. They will put their trust in him.

Now I am happy. I’m not happy because you were made sad. I’m happy because your sadness led you to turn away from your sins. You became sad just as God wanted you to. So you were not hurt in any way by us.Godly sadness causes us to turn away from our sins and be saved. And we are certainly not sorry about that! But worldly sadness brings death.

The Lord says to his servant,“ When it is time to have mercy on you, I will answer your prayers. When it is time to save you, I will help you. I will keep you safe. You will put into effect my covenant with the people of Israel. Then their land will be made like new again. Each tribe will be sent back to its territory that was left empty.

His grace teaches us to say no to godless ways and sinful desires. We must control ourselves. We must do what is right. We must lead godly lives in today’s world.

“ So then, everyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise man. He builds his house on the rock.The rain comes down. The water rises. The winds blow and beat against that house. But it does not fall. It is built on the rock.But everyone who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man. He builds his house on sand.The rain comes down. The water rises. The winds blow and beat against that house. And it falls with a loud crash.”

For 40 days the flood kept coming on the earth. As the waters rose higher, they lifted the ark high above the earth.The waters rose higher and higher on the earth. And the ark floated on the water.The waters rose on the earth until all the high mountains under the entire sky were covered.The waters continued to rise until they covered the mountains by more than 20 feet.Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being.Every breathing thing on dry land died.

But Lord, I pray to you. May this be the time you help me. God, answer me because you love me so much. Save me, as you always do.Save me from the trouble I’m in. It’s like slippery mud, so don’t let me sink in it. Save me from those who hate me. Save me from the deep water I’m in.Don’t let the floods cover me. Don’t let the deep water swallow me up. Don’t let the grave close its mouth over me.

They would have been like a flood that drowned us. They would have swept over us like a rushing river.They would have washed us away like a swollen stream.

God, save me. My troubles are like a flood. I’m up to my neck in them.I’m sinking in deep mud. I have no firm place to stand. I am out in deep water. The waves roll over me.

He comforts us in all our troubles. Now we can comfort others when they are in trouble. We ourselves receive comfort from God.

My enemies are like a mighty flood. Reach down from heaven and save me. Save me from outsiders who attack me.

“ Then you will call to me. But I won’t answer. You will look for me. But you won’t find me.

He said,“ I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.The days will come when your enemies will arrive. They will build a wall of dirt up against your city. They will surround you and close you in on every side.You didn’t recognize the time when God came to you. So your enemies will smash you to the ground. They will destroy you and all the people inside your walls. They will not leave one stone on top of another.”

Then out of his mouth the serpent spit water like a river. He wanted to catch the woman and sweep her away in the flood.But the earth helped the woman. It opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had spit out.

But for that very reason, God showed me mercy. And I am the worst of sinners. He showed me mercy so that Christ Jesus could show that he is very patient. I was an example for those who would come to believe in him. Then they would receive eternal life.

Give me back the joy that comes from being saved by you. Give me a spirit that obeys you so that I will keep going.Then I will teach your ways to those who commit lawless acts. And sinners will turn back to you.
