In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues.

天主歟、驕傲之人、群起攻擊我、強橫之黨類、欲索我命、彼皆目中無天主、

此人乃心驕、一無所知、專好辯問鬥辭、由此生妒嫉、爭競、訕謗、妄疑、

惡人驕橫、逼迫窮民、願其陷於自設之計謀、

爾心若懷嫉很、紛爭、則勿矜誇、勿誑妄、以敵真理、如此智慧、非由上而來、乃屬地、屬血氣、屬鬼魔、蓋嫉妒紛爭所在、必有亂行及諸惡事、

驕傲人為我設機檻與羈絆、在道旁設網羅、為我設繩罟、細拉、

不顧驕傲人及偏向虛假者、惟倚賴主、其人便為有福、

伊及人狂傲、欺凌以色列民、耶和華勝之、我知耶和華大於諸神、

洶湧之水、淹沒我身、

使其舌尖利如蛇、虺蛇之毒、藏其唇內、細拉、

如是舌為小體、而能誇大、薪甚多、薪甚多或作林甚茂微火可燃、舌即火、其惡大於世界、舌於我百體中玷污全身、能燃造化之輪、其火由革狠拿而起、
