莫令我觖望。應使彼吞聲。惡計既受挫。默默歸幽冥。

Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.

Their lips tell lies. Let them be silenced. They speak with pride against those who do right. They make fun of them.

Let the lying lips be mute, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.

Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly.

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

His servants spoke further against the Lord God and against His servant Hezekiah.

Rescue my soul, Lord, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.

But the king will rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him will boast, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.

Truthful lips will endure forever, But a lying tongue is only for a moment.

Against the Holy One of Israel!Through your servants you have taunted the Lord, And you have said,‘ With my many chariots I came up to the heights of the mountains, To the remotest parts of Lebanon; And I cut down its tall cedars and its choice junipers. And I will come to its highest peak, its thickest forest.

On account of the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, May they even be caught in their pride, And on account of curses and lies which they tell.
