Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against Him

Therefore, our God, hear the prayer and the petitions of Your servant. Show Your favor to Your desolate sanctuary for the Lord’s sake.Listen, my God, and hear. Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city called by Your name. For we are not presenting our petitions before You based on our righteous acts, but based on Your abundant compassion.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens,so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved.We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Lord, when You showed Your favor, You made me stand like a strong mountain; when You hid Your face, I was terrified.

For He tells Moses: I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

And what if He did this to make known the riches of His glory on objects of mercy that He prepared beforehand for glory—

remembered His covenant with them, and relented according to the riches of His faithful love.
