Lord, when you favored me, you made my royal mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed.

耶和華歟、昔爾施恩、使我立於固山、及爾掩面、我則煩擾兮、

耶和華施恩兮、國祚鞏固、有若山嶽、爾乃遐棄予兮、觳觫之不勝、

主又施恩、使我之國鞏固如山、自主掩面、我甚驚懼、

昔處康樂。自謂安固。

Lord, when you gave me your help, you made Mount Zion stand firm. But when you took away your help, I was terrified.

By your favor, O Lord, you made my mountain stand strong; you hid your face; I was dismayed.

Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain. Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered.

LORD, when you showed your favor, you made me stand like a strong mountain; when you hid your face, I was terrified.

Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.

Lord, when You showed Your favor, You made me stand like a strong mountain; when You hid Your face, I was terrified.

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face,[ and] I was troubled.

O LORD, in your good favor you made me secure. Then you rejected me and I was terrified.

You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.

Answer me quickly, Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit.

And in that day I will become angry with them and forsake them; I will hide my face from them, and they will be destroyed. Many disasters and calamities will come on them, and in that day they will ask,‘ Have not these disasters come on us because our God is not with us?’

Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.

For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn.

You, Lord, are God! You have promised these good things to your servant.Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Lord, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.

because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.

Yet when I hoped for good, evil came; when I looked for light, then came darkness.The churning inside me never stops; days of suffering confront me.I go about blackened, but not by the sun; I stand up in the assembly and cry for help.I have become a brother of jackals, a companion of owls.My skin grows black and peels; my body burns with fever.My lyre is tuned to mourning, and my pipe to the sound of wailing.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great.You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.
