因主震怒不過片時、主之恩惠、乃一生之久、夜雖哭泣、晨必歡呼、

蒙主煦育。可不頌美。勗哉諸聖。讚主莫已。

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.

yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping.The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—

So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.

Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll— are they not in your record?Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me.In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” And let the one who hears say,“ Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”
