因主震怒不過片時、主之恩惠、乃一生之久、夜雖哭泣、晨必歡呼、

蒙主煦育。可不頌美。勗哉諸聖。讚主莫已。

For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison

Those who shed tears as they plant will shout for joy when they reap the harvest.The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag of seed, will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain.

“ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

He does not always accuse, and does not stay angry.

You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

I tell you the solemn truth, you will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.When a woman gives birth, she has distress because her time has come, but when her child is born, she no longer remembers the suffering because of her joy that a human being has been born into the world.So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

Because experiencing your loyal love is better than life itself, my lips will praise you.

As for me, I will sing about your strength; I will praise your loyal love in the morning. For you are my refuge and my place of shelter when I face trouble.

For you were made sad as God intended, so that you were not harmed in any way by us.For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.

May I hear about your loyal love in the morning, for I trust in you. Show me the way I should go, because I long for you.

You keep track of my misery. Put my tears in your leather container! Are they not recorded in your scroll?My enemies will turn back when I cry out to you for help; I know that God is on my side.In God– I boast in his promise– in the LORD– I boast in his promise–in God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men do to me?
