Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth?[ or] canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?Canst thou number the months[ that] they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;[ Though] the waters thereof roar[ and] be troubled,[ though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.[ There is] a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy[ place] of the tabernacles of the most High.God[ is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her,[ and that] right early.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.

Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop[ thy word] toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

Behold, bless ye the LORD, all[ ye] servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.Lift up your hands[ in] the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise[ him], O ye servants of the LORD.Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

To see thy power and thy glory, so[ as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up[ like] the lifting up of smoke.
