“山巖間的野山羊的產期你能曉得嗎？母鹿下犢之期你能察出嗎？牠們懷胎的月數你能計算嗎？牠們生產的日期你能曉得嗎？牠們屈身，把子產下，就除掉生產的疼痛。

耶和華啊！我喜愛你住宿的殿，你榮耀居住的地方。

因此，地雖然震動，群山雖然崩塌入海洋的深處，我們也不害怕。雖然海浪翻騰澎湃，雖然山嶽因波濤洶湧搖動，我們也不害怕。（細拉）有一條河，它眾多的支流使神的城充滿快樂；這城就是至高者居住的聖所。神在城中，城必不動搖；天一亮，神必幫助它。

神啊！我們在你的殿中，想念你的慈愛。

又把他樹林和豐盛果園的榮美全部滅盡，包括靈魂和身體，好像一個患病的人漸漸虛弱一樣。他林中剩下的樹，數目必定稀少，連小孩子也能把它們的數目寫下來。

“人子啊！你要面向南方，向南面發言，說預言攻擊南地田野的樹林，對南地的樹林說：‘你要聽耶和華的話，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要在你中間點起火來，吞滅你中間所有青綠和枯乾的樹；猛烈的火燄必不熄滅；從南到北遍地都要燒焦。所有的人都必看見是我耶和華使這火燃起來；這火必不熄滅。’”

耶和華的眾僕人哪！你們要稱頌耶和華；夜間在耶和華殿中侍候的，你們要稱頌耶和華。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）你們要向聖所舉手禱告，稱頌耶和華。

你們要讚美耶和華，你們要讚美耶和華的名；耶和華的眾僕人哪！你們都要讚美他。在耶和華殿中侍候的，在我們神殿的院裡侍候的，你們要讚美他。

因此，我在聖所中瞻仰你，為要見你的能力和榮耀。

邪惡像火一般焚燒，吞滅荊棘蒺藜，連樹林中的密叢也燒起火來，它們旋轉上騰，成了煙柱。
