彼眾不明主所行與主手所作、主必毀滅之、不再建立、

目中無眞宰。藐視靈異蹟。既為主所否。何由自建立。

Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again.

They don’t care about the Lord’ s mighty acts. They don’t care about what his hands have done. So he will tear them down. He will never build them up again.

Because they do not regard the works of the Lord or the work of his hands, he will tear them down and build them up no more.

They care nothing for what the Lord has done or for what his hands have made. So he will tear them down, and they will never be rebuilt!

For they do not understand the LORD’s actions, or the way he carries out justice. The LORD will permanently demolish them.

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,[ even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

And even as they did not like to retain God in[ their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Who[ is] wise, and he shall understand these[ things]? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD[ are] right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments[ are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.Let favour be shewed to the wicked,[ yet] will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.LORD,[ when] thy hand is lifted up, they will not see:[ but] they shall see, and be ashamed for[ their] envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

His ways are always grievous; thy judgments[ are] far above out of his sight:[ as for] all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I,[ even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Surely[ there is] no enchantment against Jacob, neither[ is there] any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these[ things], that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that[ he is] strong in power; not one faileth.

He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

And what[ is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do[ that is] right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.When he uttereth his voice,[ there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I[ am] the LORD; and[ there is] none else.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.O LORD, how great are thy works![ and] thy thoughts are very deep.A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt,[ even] unto this day, and in Israel, and among[ other] men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;

For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

The works of the LORD[ are] great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.His work[ is] honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD[ is] gracious and full of compassion.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
