予向爾聖所。而舉手呼籲於上兮、請爾俯聞、

我呼籲主、向主之聖殿舉手、求主垂聽我懇求之聲、

主盍一垂顧。鑒我耿耿忠。向主發哀聲。舉手朝聖宮。

Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

Hear my cry for your favor when I call out to you for help. Hear me when I lift up my hands in prayer toward your Most Holy Room.

I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the Lord.

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

I said to the Lord:“ You are my God; Hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

And he prepared the inner sanctuary inside the temple, to set the ark of the covenant of the Lord there.

whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this temple:

( for Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven);

Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today:that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said,‘ My name shall be there,’ that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive.

“ Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him For the life of your young children, Who faint from hunger at the head of every street.”

The whole temple he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the temple; also he overlaid with gold the entire altar that was by the inner sanctuary.Inside the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim.For the cherubim spread their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.

I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah
