有一事我曾求主、今仍祈求、即使我一生居於主殿、瞻仰主之榮美、在主殿朝覲主、

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

耶和華啊，我愛你的殿，你榮耀充滿的地方。

你的恩惠和慈愛必伴隨我一生，我要永遠住在你的殿中。

蒙你揀選、能住在你聖所的人有福了！我們在你美好的居所，你聖潔的殿中心滿意足。

住在你殿裡的人有福了！他們不斷地歌頌你。（細拉）

在你的院宇住一日勝過在別處住千日！我寧願在我上帝的殿中看門，也不願住在惡人的帳篷裡。

我曾在你的聖所瞻仰你的榮面，目睹你的權能和榮耀。你的慈愛比生命更寶貴，我的嘴唇要讚美你。我一生都要讚美你，奉你的名舉手禱告。我心滿意足，如享盛宴，唱起歡快的歌讚美你。

弟兄姊妹，我並非以為自己已經得到了，我只專注一件事，就是忘記背後，努力向前，

你說：「來尋求我！」我心中回應：「耶和華啊，我要尋求你。」

其實最要緊的事只有一件，瑪麗亞選擇了上好的，是奪不走的。」

「你們要先尋求上帝的國和祂的義，這一切都會賜給你們。

我們這些臉上不再蒙著帕子的人，可以像鏡子一樣反映主的榮光，漸漸變成主的樣式，榮上加榮。這都是主的作為，主就是那靈。

願主——我們的上帝恩待我們，使我們所做的亨通，使我們所做的亨通。

耶穌講了一個比喻來教導門徒要常常禱告，不要灰心。

沒有信心的人不能得到上帝的喜悅，因為來到上帝面前的人必須相信上帝存在，並相信祂會賞賜一切尋求祂的人。

「我告訴你們，祈求，就會給你們；尋找，就會尋見；叩門，就會給你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得到；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。

你們尋求我，就必尋見。只要你們全心尋求我，

「你們要努力進窄門，因為我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進卻進不去。

上帝的光輝從完美的錫安發出。

「祈求，就會給你們；尋找，就會尋見；叩門，就會給你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得到；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。

因為那吩咐光從黑暗中照射出來的上帝光照了我們的心，為要讓我們認識上帝在耶穌基督的面容上所彰顯的榮耀。

我便禁食，身披麻衣，頭蒙灰塵，向主上帝禱告祈求。

錫安城啊，要充滿喜樂！耶路撒冷城啊，要歡呼！看啊，你的王到你這裡來了！祂是公義、得勝的王，謙卑地騎著驢，騎著一頭驢駒。

真正有需要、無依無靠的寡婦仰賴上帝的幫助，晝夜不住地禱告祈求。

掃羅死了，因為他對耶和華不忠，不聽從祂的教誨，甚至去求問靈媒，而不求問耶和華。因此，耶和華使他被殺，把王位交給了耶西的兒子大衛。

她向上帝許願說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，如果你眷顧婢女的痛苦，不忘記婢女，賜給婢女一個兒子，我必讓他終生事奉你，永不剃他的頭。」

大衛求問耶和華，說：「我該追趕敵人嗎？我能追上他們嗎？」耶和華答道：「追趕他們吧，你必能追上他們，救回一切。」

在大衛執政期間，連續有三年饑荒，大衛就求問耶和華。耶和華說：「發生這饑荒是因為掃羅一家人的血債，他們殺害了基遍人。」

耶和華啊，我洗手表明清白，再走到你的壇前，

亞希米勒為他求問耶和華，給他食物，還把非利士人歌利亞的刀給了他。」
