大軍雖當前。吾亦無惴慄。中君既安泰。威武焉能屈。

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

and in nothing frightened by the adversaries, which is for them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and that from God.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed.“ Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”

Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;for we walk by faith, not by sight.We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?

“ Behold, I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame, and forges a weapon for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy.No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.

Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non- existent thing.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Even as it is written,“ For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me, to bring me up?” Saul answered,“ I am very distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me, and answers me no more, by prophets, or by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I shall do.”Samuel said,“ Why then do you ask me, since Yahweh has departed from you and has become your adversary?

There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.They didn’t prevail. No place was found for them any more in heaven.The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.

The righteous also will see it, and fear, and laugh at him, saying,

When the servant of the man of God had risen early, and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. His servant said to him,“ Alas, my master! What shall we do?”He answered,“ Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”Elisha prayed, and said,“ Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see.” Yahweh opened the young man’s eyes; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.
